Getting started with Bluemix

Apple, Capgemini, Manhattan Associates.. Why so many big corporations are opting for Bluemix?

Want to know what Bluemix is & how one can learn about it (because it definitley will add tremendous value to your technical skills)?

Read on ..

Cloud technology is creating waves across the industry. Amazon is a giant in this field, but that might change very soon.
IBM's answer to Amazon Web Services : Bluemix, is gaining popularity as each day passes.
Recently there was an article in India's leading newspaper Times of India which reported developers and organisations are shifting from Amazon AWS & Microsoft's Azure to Bluemix in India rapidly.

So what is Bluemix & how can I get started using it?

In simple terms:
Bluemix is a platform that allows developers to easily and cost-effectively develop and deploy applications on the cloud.
It combines more than 100 cloud-based development tools from IBM and its partners.
It delivers pre-packaged code for a range of capabilities, including social, mobile, security, analytics, database, and IoT (internet-of-things).

One of the great things about Bluemix is that you can have your applications use the various services that IBM, the community, and other companies have provided. These services typically incorporate years of experience, expertise and best practices in a certain field: data processing, analytics, messaging, and help you become a lot more productive.
